About the Feed-in-Tariff Program
Ontario's feed-in tariff or FIT Program is North America's first comprehensive guaranteed pricing structure for renewable electricity production. It offers stable prices under long-term contracts for energy generated from renewable sources.
FIT Program
The FIT Program is for electricity generation projects greater than 10 kilowatts.
microFIT Program
The microFIT Program is for smaller projects up to 10 kilowatts in size and offers an easy, streamlined process for project Applicants.
Net Metering
Ontario's net metering regulation lets you send electricity you generate from renewable sources into the electrical grid for a credit towards your energy costs. Bluewater Power will subtract the value of electricity you supply to the grid from the value of what you take from the grid. What you will see on your bill is the "net" difference.
